What kind of service does SLBid.com provide?
SLBid provides the online Business-to-Government services. Using the web technology, SLBid provides members with contracting information from the U.S. and Canadian government agencies. Furthermore, members receive contracting information either by SLBid's daily e-mail report or by accessing its website.
What is the main benefit of using SLBid?
There are two main services SLBid provides; contract opportunities and e-mail reports of bid leads. First, contract opportunities contain bid notices, RFQ, RFP, and bidding opportunities from federal, state, and local government agencies from the U.S. and Canada. You can receive personalized bid notification emails or search them instantly on our website. Furthermore, getting email notification of new bid opportunities that best match your product or service will save you a lot of time. This means that you don't have to waste your time looking for bid opportunities anymore. With SLBid, you will receive plenty of bids at your desktop everyday. Besides, with extra time available, you will be able to better prepare for bidding. Now, invest your time in selling and not searching! This will bring you more contracts won, in other words, more businesses and more profits.
What agencies does SLBid cover? What are the sources of SLBid?
SLBid covers all federal government agencies. This means we have contracting information from NASA, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and many more. As for state and local government agencies, SLBid covers more than 50,000 government agencies which make SLBid one of the largest B2G contracting information sources on the web. But, since there are so many local agencies that issue contracting information, it is possible that SLBid does not provide the information from the agency you are dealing with. In that case, please contact our customer support team. SLBid will add the source to its database and will provide the information through its email alert service and web service.
Approximately how many government bids are available per day?
Usually, there are more than 3,000 new government bid opportunities available per day. Sometimes the number can go as high as 6,000 or as low as 1,500. But, usually more than 50,000 open bid opportunities are available at any given time.
What kind of filtering options does SLBid have? Will I only receive the information that matches my products or services?
The people at SLBid understand that members prefer to receive one right piece of information than to receive a lot of information that is irrelevant to their business. That is why SLBid offers several filtering options that help members to receive only relevant contracting information. Members can set up keywords, FSC categories and target business areas.
I know a website/agency that provides government contracting information. However, SLBid does not seem to provide information from that website/agency.
